Your Local Trophy Analyzer

Getting started: Import your PlayStation trophies

YLTA is a local-first trophy tracker. It does not require a YLTA account. You can import your own PlayStation trophies using an optional local script; add PSNProfiles percentages afterward.

Part A — Your PlayStation trophy data

  1. Install Node.js 20 or later (current LTS recommended).
  2. Download the YLTA PSN sync kit and extract it.
  3. Windows: open the extracted folder in File Explorer, click its address bar, type cmd, press Enter, then run npm install followed by node sync.mjs. macOS/Linux: open Terminal in the extracted folder and run the same commands. Do not run the tool from inside the ZIP.
  4. Sign in to PlayStation. In that same browser, open Sony's session-token page and copy your own NPSSO value. It acts like a password. Paste it only into the local terminal when asked.
  5. The tool should create trophy-ledger-export.json in the extracted folder.
  6. Open YLTA → Import / Export. Choose that JSON, then Add to my trophies.

Security: YLTA's website never asks for your password or NPSSO. The optional community-based sync is unofficial and depends on Sony's services, availability and applicable terms. Avoid using it if you cannot use it with permission.

Part B — PSNProfiles rarity percentages

The PSNProfiles percentage differs from Sony's PSN rarity. YLTA stores both separately.

  1. For a single game, open its trophy list on PSNProfiles, press Ctrl + S, choose Webpage, HTML Only, then import the HTML in YLTA under PSNProfiles percentages.
  2. For many games, optionally download the YLTA PSNProfiles tab collector. Extract it, open brave://extensions (or chrome://extensions), enable Developer mode and use Load unpacked to choose the extracted folder.
  3. Open several PSNProfiles game trophy pages in tabs, click the extension and choose Capture all open trophy tabs. Repeat with more open pages.
  4. Export ylta-psnprofiles-bulk.json. In YLTA, select that JSON under PSNProfiles percentages → Analyze → review the matches → Apply.

The helper reads only pages you already opened. It does not fetch an entire account or bypass blocked pages. Game versions may have different trophies; always review the match preview.

Part C — Smart goals and milestone badges (v11)

Open Goals from the app sidebar. You can choose Smart goal to track earned trophies, platinums, completed games, or completion percentages automatically after each import. Choose Checklist for steps you mark manually.

Milestone badges unlock automatically from your imported PSN trophies. Demo trophies do not count. Smart goals and checklists are saved only in your browser and included in a complete JSON backup, so download backups before changing devices or deleting site data.

Frequently asked questions

Can YLTA synchronize my PSN trophies inside the browser? No. The current static site cannot securely sign in to PSN, so the optional sync runs separately on your computer.

Will PSNProfiles rarity update by itself? No. Reimport newer saved pages or browser-helper exports to refresh these percentages.

Will I lose my trophies when YLTA updates? The site keeps the same local browser storage, but clearing site data or switching browsers can delete local information. Export JSON backups regularly.

What if I see no matches? Sync your PSN trophies first, then check which PS4/PS5 edition of the game you selected in the match preview.
